EYEBROW PERMANENT MAKEUP SERVICES
There are many different techniques available to create the perfect brow for each client. The consultation helps me understand how you like to have your brows look every day. From that conversation, I can suggest the best technique to achieve that look. EVERY BROW SERVICE IS CUSTOMIZED TO EACH INDIVIDUAL. It is important to note that not every technique is ideal for every skin type. Some factors that will need to be considered are oily or dryness of skin, age/thickness of skin, pore size, amount of sun damage present, medications, and lifestyle. Having over 20 years in Esthetics, my priority is to apply a technique that will integrate well with each person’s skin.
MICROBLADING
Microblading was introduced to enhance the brows by creating hair-like strokes. It is perfect for filling in gaps, balancing symmetry, and creating a very natural look. It is a semi-permanent form of a tattoo and the reason is these strokes are placed in the very top layer of skin and not deep. After your first session, a touch-up session is required after 6-8 weeks. 2 sessions minimum are required. After that, microblading usually requires a yearly touch-up to maintain the color although some people can go longer without needing a color boost.
This procedure is best for have small pores and dry to combination skin. Age and medications also will factor into if this is the appropriate service for your skin.
OMBRE BROW/POWDER BROW
These services are special shading only techniques-no microblading. They are great for providing a filled-in brow. This shading looks very much like if you were to apply makeup on your brow. Shading can be very natural looking or more color can be layered in to create a more dramatic “Instagram” looking brow. After your first session, a touch-up session is required after 6-8 weeks. 2 sessions minimum are required.
This technique is best for all skin types. It is also good for those with medium to large pores or even oily skin. It is a very versatile technique because the color saturation can be built up over several layers, depending on the desired outcome.
COMBO BROW (MOST POPULAR SERVICE)
This combination brow service uses microblading hair-like strokes to first add more structure and symmetry to the brow. A shading technique is then layered between the hair-like strokes to create a more filled-in and more cohesive look to the brows. The amount of shading is customizable and still looks soft and natural. After your first session, a touch-up session is required after 6-8 weeks. 2 sessions minimum are required.
This procedure is best for most skin types and better for those with medium to large pores and for those that want a more defined brow.
FOLLOW UP/ OR PERFECTING SESSION
This is the follow-up appointment that is REQUIRED 6-8 weeks after the initial service. Everyone heals differently so this gives the brows time to heal to see what color is retained in the brow. At this service, we re-apply pigment to any areas of the previous shape that need more pigment.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This is only for 6-8 weeks after the initial service. Any touch-up service after 8 weeks will have an increased price. Please make these appointments keeping your schedule and vacations in mind and please discuss beforehand to avoid confusion. There is a time frame that brows need to be very protected. If a vacation or outdoor activity may interfere with those precautions, then the second appointment will have to be postponed. If they are postponed past the 8-week mark, there will be an increased price.
TOUCH-UP SESSION
This session is for any service past the 8 weeks follow-up period but before you would need a color boost session as part of regular yearly maintenance. The cost of these sessions may vary depending on the time and techniques involved.
COLOR BOOST SESSION
This session is for more of the yearly maintenance needed to maintain color in the brows. This is anything past 11 or more months of the initial service.
